I bought this tractor last fall knowing it had issues. We finally got it into the shop and found it had to have the crankshaft turned to .30. While we were doing this, we also had the head shaved and a valve job was done on the head. One of the connecting rods was too far gone, but I was able to locate a good used one from a tractor salvage yard and had it shaped as well. With brand new main and rod bearings along with a new set of rings, we were ready to put it back together.
Now to get the loader back on once this cold snap lets up will complete the job. I am now trying to decide if I really need this tractor with already owning 2 other loader tractors.
